PristonWorld (pristonworld.com and priston.world, "we") is an unofficial, fan-made information site about the game PristonTale. This policy explains what information is collected when you visit, why, and the choices and rights you have. If you have any questions, contact us at pristonworld@gmail.com.

Who is responsible for your data

PristonWorld, run by SunnyZ, is responsible for this website (the "data controller" under European law). Contact: pristonworld@gmail.com.

Information we collect

PristonWorld has no user accounts, sign-ups or forms, and never asks you for your name, email address or other personal details. The information involved in a visit is:

• Server logs. Our web server records each request: your IP address, browser type, the page requested, the referring page and the time. We use these only to keep the site running and secure, and delete them when they are no longer needed for that.
• Advertising cookies and identifiers. Google and its advertising partners use cookies, device identifiers and your IP address (which shows your approximate location) to show ads, limit how often you see them, measure them and prevent fraud. Where you have allowed it, these are also used for personalised ads. See Advertising below.
• Embedded content. The server clock in the page footer is loaded from timeanddate.com, which receives your IP address.

We do not collect sensitive information, and we do not sell personal information for money.

Advertising

This site shows ads from Google AdSense to help pay for hosting. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your previous visits to this website and to other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies lets Google and its partners show you ads based on your visits to this site and other sites on the internet.

You can opt out of personalised advertising from Google at Google Ads Settings, and from other participating vendors at www.aboutads.info (or www.youronlinechoices.eu in Europe). You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings; you will still see ads, but they will be less relevant. Visitors in the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland

When you first visit, a consent message from Google asks whether you agree to cookies and the use of your data for ads and measurement. It lists Google's advertising partners and lets you accept, reject or choose individual purposes. You can change your choice at any time with the Privacy and cookie settings link shown on the page. If you do not consent, you may still see non-personalised or limited ads.

Legal basis. We rely on your consent for advertising cookies and personalised ads, and on our legitimate interest in running a secure, working website for server logs and for preventing ad fraud.

Your rights. Under the GDPR and UK GDPR you have the right to access the personal data held about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to its use, to data portability, and to withdraw your consent at any time (this does not affect anything done before you withdrew it). Because we do not hold names or accounts, the main data we could act on is server-log data linked to your IP address; for advertising data, Google's tools above give you the most control. International transfers. Google and its partners may process data outside your country, including in the United States, under the safeguards described in Google's Privacy Policy.

Visitors in the United States

Residents of California and several other US states (including Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas, Oregon and others) have additional rights under their state privacy laws.

What is collected and shared. In the last 12 months, the categories of personal information collected through this site were: identifiers (IP address, cookie and device IDs), internet activity (pages viewed and interactions with ads) and approximate location. They come directly from your browser, and are used and disclosed as described above: to Google and its advertising partners for advertising, and to timeanddate.com for the footer clock. Letting advertising partners use cookies for ads based on your activity may count as "selling" or "sharing" personal information, or as "targeted advertising", under these laws, even though no money is exchanged for it.

Opting out. You can opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information, and of targeted advertising, using the Do not sell or share my personal information link that Google shows on this site, or by emailing us. You can also opt out with the Google Ads Settings and aboutads.info links above.

Your rights. Depending on your state, you can ask to know what personal information has been collected about you, to get a copy of it, to have it corrected or deleted, and to opt out as described above. You will not be treated differently for using these rights. To make a request, email pristonworld@gmail.com; we may need to ask for information to confirm the request is yours. If we turn down your request, you can reply to appeal it.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13 (under 16 in Europe), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Other websites

Links to other websites (game servers, forums, download mirrors and the player ranking) are outside our control and have their own privacy policies.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
